We are thrilled to shine the spotlight on Kelly Bergeron, an inspiring member of our HerUpland community. Kelly’s journey with us began at the 2022 Mountain Grouse Camp in Montana, and since then, her dedication and passion for upland hunting and bird dog training have only grown stronger.
Kelly’s enthusiasm and commitment have led her to participate in numerous HerUpland events, including the MT Wingshooting Clinic, Montana Rendezvous Hunt, Idaho Rendezvous Hunt, and the MT Pointing Dog Training Camp. Not only has she been an active participant, but she also generously volunteered her time and skills on the squad for the WI Pointing Dog Camp.
Kelly’s unwavering dedication is evident in her continued growth and success in the uplands, particularly with her two Vizslas, Rylan and Desi. Her journey is a testament to the power of passion and perseverance in upland hunting and bird dog training. We are excited to support Kelly and watch her progress as she hones her skills and deepens her connection with Rylan and Desi.
HerUpland is proud to have Kelly as part of our community, and we look forward to many more shared adventures and successes in the future!

Describe a typical day in your life
I work remotely, so when I’m not on the road or at home working then I’m trying to sneak in as much time with the dogs outdoors either training, running, or doing events.
How did you get into hunting and/or dog training?
I got Rylan as a running partner and then fell down the rabbit hole of bird dog life when I saw her go on point and realized she needed a job bigger than following me around trails.
What’s your Bird Dog Breed of choice, and why?
Vizsla for their temperament and versatility.
Name one thing you’d like to accomplish with your dog in the next year.
Have fun on wild birds this Fall, we’ve done a lot of training and testing so far.
What is your favorite upland or bird dog product on the market right now?
onX Hunt because it helps give me the freedom and confidence to better explore new areas with my dogs
